Jan Cordesmeyer

With a professional degree in flour milling as well as an MBA, Jan is driven by success and never loses his connection to the underlying food production processes. He is the CEO of Hemelter Mühle, a fourth-generation family-owned and operated international flour milling business. Jan brings multidisciplinary experience in fast moving and highly complex environments to the table and is passionate about sustainable and efficient pro­cesses across the complete food value chain.

After having graduated from one of Europe’s leading business schools (WHU), Gilda became a founding member of CellAg Germany, a non-profit organisation advancing cellular agriculture in Germany. As an entrepreneurship major, she began building her strong network in food tech by publishing insightful research working with startups, investors and established players within the food industry. Gilda is passionate about creating a more just and sustainable food system for all and brings experience ranging from management consulting to business development for early-stage biotech startups to the table.
